Robert bock

 

Robert Bock is a Singer/Songwriter from Queens, NY. He co-founded the Americana band, The Locksmiths, with his wife Krissy Bock in 2010. Their eponymous debut album was backed by Cole Quest & The City Pickers and received critical praise from Adobe & Teardrops and Ear to the Ground Music. The Locksmiths most recent release, My Way in Manila, was featured in Countrypolitan Magazine as well as on WFUV and NPR. Robert has also written for the stage, and his musical The Levy Debate qualified as a finalist for The Alec Baldwin Fellowship at The Singer's Forum in NYC. Besides performing and writing, Robert has a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and his work has been showcased in juried exhibitions. He also runs the social media and graphics for the Big City Folk Collective, a community of songwriters founded by Niall Connolly. Robert is currently working on a solo album as well as his next musical.
